Who cares if you're a pessimist or an optimist
Being a 'pessimist' or being a 'optimist' doesn't matter as much if you're accomplishing what you want to accomplish, and being a wholesome person.

To some degree, who cares if you're a pessimist or an optimist? It doesn't really matter.
What ultimately matters is that you're living an honest, thoughtful life that, as much as is reasonably possible, leaves things better than they were.. whether it's random people on the street, a workplace, or your relationship.
And to some degree it is true that if you sincerely believe you're a night owl or an early riser, then you're way more likely to rise early compared to if you continually tell yourself there's no way you can wake up.
But as always, there's yin and yang. In Chinese culture - I've learned a little tiny bit about this - yin and yang is in everything.. It's simple way to explain the dualities of life.
So of course there are going to be contradictions.. but at least for now, it makes sense to me as long as you're getting to where you want to go - even if you're grumbling along the way - sometimes all that matters is that you are doing.
